Job Summary:

 

The position is a challenging job in a fast paced, performance oriented environment. Employee’s must use sound judgment in the execution of their duties, possess and engaging communication style and maintain a competitive, self-motivated demeanor. This is a job which rewards performance and compliance offering a monthly bonus based on performance to goal.

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Outbound calling to our customers to assist them in coming to an agreeable solution that resolves their bad debt obligation

  • Negotiate payment and settlement terms over the phone and computer

  • Take incoming calls from customers that are actively seeking to clear up a delinquent debt

  • Adhere to all applicable collections regulations such as the FDCPA, as well as internal policies regarding scheduling and attendance

 

Requirements

 

Education and Experience:

 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Collections experience preferred but not required

 

Skills and Abilities:

 

  • Dependable and accountable

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong, engaging  and effective communication style and skills

  • Ability to use sound judgment in the execution of their duties and follow established policies, procedures, and training guidelines

  • Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality

  • Dependable and accountable

  • Ability to adapt to change and perform in a rapidly expanding dynamic organization

  • Ability to maintain a competitive and self-motivated demeanor

  • Computer proficiency and ability to type and enter data accurately while speaking

  • Patience and drive to make 200 or more phone calls in a day without distraction

 

Compensation and Benefits:

 

  • Competitive hourly rate; commensurate with experience; generous monthly commission structure based on performance goals (uncapped commission earnings!)
